Annual Meet in Ranchi

Wake Up India Foundation, the student-led NGO, conducted its annual meet today. The meeting was attended by the members who have recently joined.

It was decided that two new campaigns will be conducted in coordination with different colleges. The new members were suggested to come up with new ideas and plans to execute these campaigns.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations

Wake Up India Foundation, Ranchi Chapter conducted its first event ‘Satrang’ for the session 2019-20 on the ocassion of Gandhi Jayanti at Adim Jati Ashram. The day unfolded with the active team members getting enthusiastically involved in the decoration of the hall. The event started with the quiz round among various age group children, answering to which they recieved chocolates.

It was followed by extempore round in which children had to pick up chits and speak on the topic written on it. First prize for extempore was bagged by Anup Demta, Second prize was won by Madhu Sudan Hans and Third prize went to Ratiya Munda. Fine Arts Society members of Amity University came to enhance the drawing skills of children.

This was followed by games like Jalebi Race, One Bounce game and Ring Throw. Kids of Adim Jati Ashram showed great interest in participation for the games which marked the success of the event. Jalebi race was won by Damodar and Ratiya Munda bagged the Second prize. The day ended with the distribution of prizes among the winners.
